Cliff Richard - Millennium Prayer

Our Father who art in Heaven
Hallowed be thy name
Thy Kingdom come
thy will be done on earth as in heaven
Give us to thee our daily bread
And forgive our sins
As we forgive each one of those who sin against us
And lead us not to the time of trial
But deliver us from evil
For thine is the kingdom the power and the glory

Let all the people sing Amen

In every tribe and tongue
Let every hearts desire be joined
To see the kingdom come
Let every hope and every dream
Be born in love again
Let all the world sing with one voice
Let the people say amen

Amen Amen Amen

Amen Amen Amen (To fade)

Debt - Aids - Trade - Africa.  DATA aims to raise awareness about, and spark response to the crises swamping Africa: unpayable debts, uncontrolled spread of AIDS, and unfair trade rules which keep Africans poor.

The organization was founded in 2002 by Bono, the lead singer of U2, along with Bobby Shriver and activists from the Jubilee 2000 Drop the Debt campaign.  At the core of DATA's mission is a view that these issues are not about charity, but about equality and justice.   Bono has spent six years trying to change the mindset of the world's most powerful country in relation to its poorest continent, risking his own reputation and that of his band by associating with some of the most controversial figures in American public life.

On 11 June 2005 the G8, the world's wealthiest countries agreed to write off more than $40 billion of African debt.   Keep up to date with what’s happening by subscribing to DATA’s online news updates.
